すでに全国の大学で行われている初年次教育のさらなる質向上や安定的な運営には、担当者のFD(Faculty Development)が重要であると考えられる。しかしながら、大学における実効的なFDの取り組みは必ずしも十分とは言い難い。神戸常盤大学で実施する「まなぶる➤ときわびと」は、大人数のチームティーチングで運営する初年次教育科目である。多くの担当者が関わり、なおかつ全学共通で開講される本科目は、教育の質保証と持続性を目的としていくつもの運営上の工夫をこらしつつ実施しており、そのことがOJTとしてのFDにつながっている。本稿においては、科目運営上の工夫が、実践的FDを通して結果的に大人数チームティーチングで実施する科目の質保証や持続可能性(sustainability)に貢献している様相を、[人的ネットワーク解析][担当者に対する調査][学生による授業評価]の各調査結果を踏まえて明らかにした。 |

Faculty development (FD) of those in charge is considered important to further improve the quality and stable operation of first-year education, which is already being provided at universities nationwide. However, effective FD efforts at universities are not always sufficient. "Manaburu➤Tokiwabito" at Kobe Tokiwa University is a first-year experience course operated by a large number of team-teachers. This course, which involves many instructors and is offered in common throughout the university, is implemented with a number of management ingenuity to guarantee the quality and sustainability of education, and this leads to FD as on-the-job training. In this paper, based on the results of the following three surveys, "human network analysis," "survey of teaching staff," and "class evaluations by students," we clarify how the ingenuity in course management contribute to the quality assurance and sustainability of courses taught by large teams t hrough practical FD. |
