看護師2年課程(通信制)は、就業年数の長い准看護師が看護師資格を得ることを促進する目的で2004年に創設された教育課程である。開設から約20年を経過して入学要件の緩和が図られる中で、教育の成果を示すことが求められている。今回、本学通信制課程の全卒業生を対象に質問紙調査を行った。結果、ディプロマポリシーに基づいた自己評価から教育目標は達成出来ていた。また卒業後、看護職者として社会のニーズにこたえ役割を果たしていることが明らかになった。さらに看護師免許の取得にとどまらず、短期大学士の資格を活用しており、卒業後も学習を継続しキャリアアップを目指していた。この教育に対する意識の分析からは、学習の動機付けや個々のレディネスを踏まえた教育内容及び能動的な学習の工夫などの必要性が示唆された。 |

The Two-Year Nursing Program (correspondence course) is an educational program established in 2004 to help licensed practical nurses with extensive workforce experience become registered nurses. About 20 years have passed since its establishment, and as the admission requirements have been eased, demonstrating the results of this program has become necessary. We conducted a questionnaire survey of all graduates of the correspondence course. The results showed that the educational goals, based on self-evaluation using the diploma policy, were achieved. Furthermore, we found that after graduation, nurses were fulfilling their roles as nursing professionals to meet societal needs. Graduates not only obtained a nursing license but also used their junior college diploma and aimed to continue their studies and advance their careers. This analysis of attitudes toward education suggests the need to motivate students to study and to develop educational content and active learning based on individual readiness. |
