In the discussion, this paper reveals the frailty of the theory, for it has no room for dialogue with local knowledge form the field. On the one hand, it is said that educational research or researchers play an instructional and enlightening role in the educational field, while on the other hand, it is said that they are not useful. Though it is suggested that the former line of thought is wrong, this paper asks if the latter is generally applicable.
